Splash H20 promotes all round wellness for our divers.
To maintain the necessary fitness levels, and to improve your level of physical fitness, you will need to make exercise part of your routine. This does not mean you have to become a gym bunny, but you do need to work on improving your fitness. You should strive to build strong core, arm, and leg muscles, as well as increasing aerobic strength and stamina. Good lung capacity will help make diving and activities surrounding it more enjoyable.
Start where you are and slowly build up your strength and stamina – you’ll be amazed at the improvement you can make in a short period of time. The great news is you will also feel great about the way you look and feel. The best news is, you’ll love how easy it is to get into your wetsuit once you drop those extra kilo's.
Our current weekly activities are as follows
Tuesday 18:00 - Running/Walk 6km leaving from Splash H20
Thursday 18:00 - Swimming (Laps in the pool) 600m for beginners, 1.2km for advanced swimmers.
Saturday 07:00 - Splash is now running from Splash H2O on Saturday's. For 10km route, runners are to meet at 06:50, run will begin at 07:00, for 5km route, runners are to meet at 07:20, run will begin at 07:30.
